    Where has the week gone?


    Monday, we were pretty much tied up with all things technical; whatever could go wrong did and we were desperate for cocktails by the pool. Luckily a Margarita (of the lipgloss kind – Rimmel London Jelly Cocktail Lip Gloss) and a quick flutter through the streets of Paris, New York and London did the trick. Oh, and finding a gorgeous and funny celeb in the darling Sophie Monk.  


    Tuesday was spent pretty much in an internal debate (with myself, not the girls): could I afford the Luella love heart shoes that I’ve been cooing over since I spied them?


    Wednesday there were a few sore heads in the office thanks to the opening of hairdresser Brad Ngata’s fabulous new Sydney salon Uptown at Ivy. The beautyheaven expert sure knows how to throw a good party: we could barely drag ourselves away from the gorgeous Parisian themed party (surely it counted as research for our global beauty issue?).


    After an ultra-glamorous week of celeb-spotting (did we mention Make Me A Supermodel peeps were at the party? Isaac is HOT. Trust us, we were a little taken aback too) Thursday was spent heads down putting the finishing touches to next week’s issue. Which of course is top secret…but if you lean in a little closer, I will tell you it’s all about giving. That’s all you’re getting so you’ll just have to pop back next week.


    And what are my plans for this fabulous Friday? To grab a second or two to ponder, not only about all of the glorious products that miraculously appear on my desk, but about the fact that every day beautyheaven connects with women all over Australia that challenge, inspire and, most importantly, agree with us that beauty is what makes the world go around.

    my birthday was on sunday so we start on friday night cocktails saturday bbq more cocktails ,sunday cocktails and cake more friends droping in , rest of the day a big blur ..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I also had an interesting friday! went out to lunch with a bunch of friends, then into town. got all dressed up as the place was tres fancy! hehe, and a very social week with a course i was doing . lots of fun! :)

    My Friday (yesterday) was all about having a fun day out with my daughter at the Melbourne Pregnancy & Children's expo which we did!! Come the end of the day we were both exhausted and said TGIF!!!! The end of the day the family went out for a lovely seafood dinner so great Friday. This weekend is just a peaceful and relaxing one at home. Well that is the intention. Maybe I'll pamper myself with a nice relaxing bath, facial, DIY pedicure and nap!!

    I am tired lol I didnt get to read this on friday so I am taking from the prospective of the morning after the friday night lol well I went a little crazy lol had some girlfriends over for nibbles and drinks and a goss ended up with 3 empty bottles of bubbles andladies asleep on banana lounges in the yard thank god friday with the girls comes around only once a month for me cause I dont think I could handle mornings like thisfor much longer and as Flutter said Go get them shoes Sarah we all need a little present for ourselves once in a while

    The highlight of my day was coffee with a couple of girlfriends in the morning. As for technical glitches I seemed to come across them in everything I tried to do. Looking forward to a new day. P.S. Flutter we all wish you happiness, health, peace, security, love and lipgloss too. xoxo

    What I hope for everyday and that is good health, happiness, security, peace, love, a chat on beautyheaven with the beautiful members and the ladies that run the site of course which includes you to Sarah, to talk with my girlfriends, hear the laughter of my best friend on the phone and to wish my girlfriends, members of bh and especially my best friend the same that I wish for everyday and I hope they and you find it.     Well, today's over, almost. But I get the house to myself, so maybe a bit of music and bh is on the menu :] On just on the technical issues, yes, they're annoying. But it's ok, because we're all certain that everyone's doing their best to get the site up and running, so I'm sure we can be patient... Well, patient enough ;) xx

    As for the technical issues I feel your pain...i couldn't get onto the site on Wednesday and was away from home last night so two nights without BH!! As for what I want out of Friday...to catch up on what I missed at BH and a nice cold drink...both of which I currently have!! Yay!
