We try: Vivace laser facial treatment
There are so many non-surgical skin-rejuvenating laser treatments available but working out which laser is right for you can be tricky. The good news is laser treatment technology has evolved by leaps and bounds. These days not all of them require downtime. And let’s face it, who has the time to take three days off ‘life’ to recover from a beauty treatment. One of the more newish laser treatments, Vivace, falls into this category. So I was super excited to try it out.
Check out the video above to find out all about Vivace.

What treatment did you get and where?
Vivace RF microneedling at Artiste Plastic Surgery in Darling Point, Sydney.
How much does the treatment cost?
Packages start from $600.
From start to finish, what did the treatment involve?
Numbing cream was applied all over my face and left on for 25 minutes. After it was wiped off the Vivace tool was pressed into my skin starting from my forehead and down to my jawline.
How did the treatment feel on your skin?
I felt the pressure of the tool being pressed into my skin but this didn’t hurt at all. My skin felt slightly warm and I did experience a slight amount of pain across my upper lip but it was 100% bearable.
How did your skin feel immediately after the treatment?
Immediately after the treatment my skin felt warm and looked red in patches just like I had just gone for a long run. But it also looked instantly brighter and more glowy. After an hour, the redness completely dissipated.
How did your skin feel a couple of days after the treatment?
My skin looked brighter, smoother and more even-toned.
What were the results like?
The results have been amazing. Four weeks later my skin still looks brighter, smoother and more even-toned. My wrinkles have softened around my eyes and forehead.
Who would you recommend this treatment for?
I would recommend Vivace to anyone who is after a rejuvenation laser treatment that softens wrinkles and brightens the skin without having to perform surgery or use injectables. Since it doesn’t require any downtime, it’s an excellent choice for the time poor.
Anything else worth noting?

Would you try Vivace?

Soooo, why not get something less invasive for home use....hm....I got recently zapper and led light in red and near infra red . Gadget is cool. Love doing things on my own. Same with hair removal. At home IPL is my thing.

I like it is not involving any surgery or cutting. So a package starts at $600,. how many treatments does this include? Did you have more than one treatment? Looks very good!

I'd be wary of any treatment like this; the face is so visible if anything went wrong

A little expensive for my budget, but good that it has results with no downtime necessary. Interesting to hear about laser treatments.

I’m still a bit nervous about needles and needling on my face, it sounds like an interesting treatment. I’d love to see some before and after shots too. The price is quite high.

I have needle phobia around the face. Can't say this would be something I would try. The price is also a real deterrent.

I'm the same but the needles are so tiny you don't really even see them. x

Does this treatment work on pigmentation? I really need to find something that will help with that. I'm about to switch onto a new product to help with my pigmentation but I may have to amp my approach. It's getting me down!

I've had Fraxel and it's nothing like that. There's really no pain or downtime.
