Christmas gifts that give back

It thrills me when my beloved beauty brands go beyond their usual cosmetics-producing duties to care for others, the environment and animals. It absolutely thrills me, in fact! Because if you’ve got the voice and the power, why not use it for the greater good, I say.
Do you love a good beauty product that gives back, too? Good, because I’ve rounded up some goodies from brilliant brands with a conscience; gift packs that’ll makes your Christmas just a wee bit more jolly…
#1: Trilogy Anniversary Collection
Not only are the crew at Trilogy passionate about skin care, they’re animal mad and tireless humanitarians as well. So, stock up on this winning collection and the recipient of your gift will not only glow with health, but you’ll glow with charitable-inspired happiness, too.
#2: Lush Cool Christmas
Lush is rather generous when it comes to environmental conservation, and is willing to put its freshly-moisturised neck out in support of both human and animal rights. It’s also helping you keep fresh this hot silly season with this invigorating and cooling snow-themed pack.
#3: endota spa green thumb pack
Alongside donating one per cent of all skin care sales to Bush Heritage Australia to help preserve our land, water and wildlife, endota spa is encouraging all of us to get a little ‘green’ and hit the garden with this adorable Christmas pack. Don’t worry, though, the hand cream will ensure your paws are pampered post gardening session.
#4: Dermalogica Multivitamin Thermofoliant
It fights for women’s entrepreneurial opportunities all across the globe thanks to its joinFITE campaign, but Dermalogica is also fighting to keep our skin looking mighty fine this silly season. This vitamin-packed trio will keep your skin looking glorious, no matter how many beverages you throw back…
#5: Aveda THE GIFT OF PURE RELIEF gift set
Aveda is a leader when it comes to environmental responsibility in the cosmetics industry, so you’ll know you’re giving a double dose of goodness when you hand over this gift pack to your loved one. Nourishing both the hands and the feet, this relief-inducing gift pack is a hydrating delight.
#6: Burt’s Bees Sweet Kiss
Not sure what all the buzz surrounding Burt’s Bees is about? Well, it commits to pledging at least 10 per cent of all online sales to The Greater Good Foundation for starters, as well as doing more than its bit for humans, animals and the environment. That means you (and your bestie) can spend hours puckering up with these delicious lip balms without feeling any guilt. None at all.
#7: The Body Shop Fruity Photos
Now this is a very cool idea: the box housing this selection of The Body Shop fruity bath and body products is a magnetised photo box. So, once Christmas is over, your loved one can slide an image in the front and store other photos inside. Yep, it seems The Body Shop crew are not just geniuses when it comes to creating scrumptious-smelling beauty products, defending human rights, protecting our planet and fighting for community fair trade - they’re nifty with their Christmas packs, too.
Did you know these brands were big crusaders for the earth, humans or animals? Which gift packs would you like to give to a loved one (or cheekily keep for yourself)?

I knew about Lush ,Trilogy,Burts Bees & The bodyshop but not the others.Just be aware though that if you are buying from The Body Shop or Burts Bees specifically because of their enviromental or animal cruelty policies that they are both owned by parent companies that do test on animals.L'oreal owns the body shop & Clorax owns Burts Bees.

Trilogy or lush. These ideas are great. I've recently been trying to go cruelty free on my beauty products.
