Brightening Get Started Kit Reviews

Kit includes:

1 x Meyer Lemon Creamy Cleanser 24 ml.
As most cream cleansers I ahve used, this one is also gentle and feels like light moisturizing lotion. But wash off kind. Nothing mindblowing. Leaves skin normal, not drying.

1 x Clementine + C Illuminating Toner 30 ml.
Refreshing and hydrating. Little more than just water.

1 x Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask 15 ml.
Was not super impressed by this mask. It leaves skin stripped a bit after washing it off. Smells nice, pumpkins and spice.

1 x Probiotic + C Renewal Cream 12ml.
Light and pleasant. Not hydrating , but just one extra step.

1 x Purple Carrot + C Luminous Night Cream 12ml.
Feels a bit more emollient. I use it over the serum (either B3 or something with peptides or both).

The pack lacks serum. Find that moisturizers are not something I enjoy using as much as face serums that are water based and light on the skin. Buying half price (as Andalou products are often sold at 1/2 price mark most of the time) and trying all of the products pays off. Great for travel too.

Do not notice any fading of my melasma with these. Firstly, takes ages to notice difference in skin discoloration changing. And this pack had about 3 weeks worth of goodies. But have enjoyed using them nonetheless.

I love the idea of a kit with mini sized products so that I can try out some products before I invest in the full size from the brand. It usually takes a while to use up a full sized product, even with daily use, so it might be a greater commitment than you want. The deluxe sized minis are also perfect for travel so you can easily bring your favourite products with you without the fuss of depotting products.

I really enjoyed using this kit and exploring the brightening range. The mini products are large enough that you can get quite a few uses out of them. I had a few weeks worth of use out of the toner and mask and a solid week and a bit out of the moisturisers and cleanser. This means you can actually use the products enough times to make a decent opinion about them, unlike foil packet and sample products.

I thoroughly enjoyed each product and I have a few that I am going to repurchase in full size. I feel like I did see a difference in my skin when using all these products in conjunction. I would recommend trying out this kit, especially if you are interested in two or more of the individual products. The price sounds steep for a bunch of mini products but it can save you from forking out the $20-30 for the full size without knowing whether you will like it or not.

I was intrigued so I picked up a couple of these starter sets, so I could trial a few of their best sellers and I have not been disappointed. The glycolic mask is an absolute dream to use. It leaves my skin feeling so silky and soft. The cleanser effectively cleanses my skin without drying it out. The toner doesn't feel like I'm just wiping alcohol on my face, it's very calming and my skin looks fresher and brighter after use. The day and night creams are super lightweight and moisturising yet not at all greasy. I've been using these products of about two weeks, and I'm nearing the end of my trial sizes and I know I'll definitely be repurchasing. The quality of these products are outstanding for the price.
