Time to try: products to help soothe your eczema

For those who didn’t know, this week is Eczema Awareness Week.
And did you also know, according to the Eczema Association of Australia, that 20 per cent of children will develop eczema before the age of five? That’s one in five people suffering from a skin condition that can be so irritating and painful that it’s debilitating.
See, eczema’s not just about having dry skin. It can be extreme dryness, redness, swelling, itching, crusting, flaking, blistering, cracking, oozing, or even bleeding. And if the wrong products are used on the skin – well, it’s pretty much disastrous.
So, if you’re an eczema sufferer and you’re looking for some soothing, calming, and nourishing products that are safe to use on your skin, try some of these eczema-friendly picks:

I suffered from eczema when I was younger, but these days one of my skin concerns is dry skin. I always opt for my vaseline cocoa butter body lotion to apply on my skin twice a day to keep them nourished and well moisturised.

Both of my babies get eczema during winter so I must be on top of moisturizing their skin. I also increase their dose of fish oil. My fave is qv intensive.

Don't know what it is but lately my skin has been quite sensitive; I have to be careful when using new body lotions and perfume as I have broken out into rashes and bumps! Its good to know what products are out there specifically for us 'sensitive' types ;)

When my eczema flares up I used to use QV body wash as it was all the perfumes in my regular body washes that caused it, now I try to avoid heavily scented body washes and try to use more natural products.

I don't suffer from this skin condition but my skin becomes sensitive, itchy and irritated after I shave, so I don't shave anymore.
