Is 'cleanse, tone, moisturise' enough?

You’ve had the same routine for years:
1. Cleanse
2. Tone
3. Moisturise
4. Repeat
But those pesky wrinkles aren’t moving and continue to gain ground across your forehead and around your eyes. It seems a new wrinkle pops up each week, and nothing is helping to keep them in control – which is when you might decide to turn to the professionals for help.
Anti-wrinkle injections are becoming one of Australia’s most popular treatments, with more than 33,000 injections administered each year.
According to the Informed Beauty report, 80 per cent of anti-wrinkle injection users believe that anti-wrinkle injections are better value for money than anti-ageing creams and moisturisers. In addition, close to half (46 per cent) think they have spent more on anti-ageing creams and moisturisers than they have on anti-wrinkle injections over the course of a year.
The Informed Beauty report also found that after an anti-wrinkle injection, the majority of users agree they look younger (87 per cent) and feel more confident (87 per cent).
That said, beauty treatments like this require a certain amount of pre-treatment research and preparation to ensure that you’re properly informed.
Arm yourself with the questions below and take them to your next appointment:
5 QUESTIONS TO ASK BEFORE GETTING ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS
#1. Which brand does your doctor use and why?
#2. Has the anti-wrinkle treatment been extensively tested and researched?
#3. How quickly will you see the effects of the injection and how long will these results last?
#4. Do the side effects of anti-wrinkle injections differ between brands?
#5. How satisfied were your doctor's other patients with the results?

I wouldn't consider injections. I prefer to try natural methods to healthy skin... although, yes, it feels like I'm losing this battle with my fine wrinkles started to show up more.

My co-worker had injections done (forehead wrinkles are hereditary in her family), she had bruises where they injected her so that put me off.
But if I noticed some wrinkles not going away I would consider it.

If your skin is too messy with acne scars then i preferred the laser treatment because it gives the permanent result and getting you the acne scars free skin.

No, it's not enough any more. Now, there are more treatments and products that do so much more for your skin. Why not make them work for you?

My mum had the most beautiful skin when she was in her 80s and she never had injections. I too, won't be having injections and will continue the beauty routine I have used since my teens.

I've never really thought about getting them - I think with a great skincare routine, products & preventative suncare, the wrinkles will take a slower path!

Wrinkles are not my concern yet, but injection sounds invasive to me.

I probably will start doing anti wrinkle injections within a couple of years. It's worth it if you achieve better results in a short amount of time.
