    If you’re still using the same makeup products that you were using this Summer, you’re doing it wrong. A change of season can cause our skin to act out resulting in a dry, flaky and dull looking complexion. While most of your warm-weather makeup products are aimed at combatting excess oil, the cooler weather calls for hydration. Basically, you’re looking for products that will protect your skin from the harsh, icy climate.

    I'm currently using the Nude by Nature Mineral Primer now, it has such a lovely smell!

    Sounds lovely Tigerlily, I would love to try NBN primer, I don’t always use primer but I’m sure it would make a difference to how my foundation sits.

    My favourite product from July's Beauty Haul is the Maybelline New York Matte Eyeshadow palette because at my age, matte eyeshadow suit me best.

    What do you mean by ..at my age, you would look fabulous at any age wearing eye shadow matte or shimmer ❤️

    Thanks Claire88 :). But I have noticed that shimmer eyeshadows no longer suit me anymore. Plus shimmer eyeshadow accentuates any creases in my eyelids. If I do use a shimmer eyeshadow, it is usually just below my eyebrows as a highlighter.

    I liked the nude by nature primer - as long as it doesn't have "cones" - that feels gross on my skin

    I could never get the original Nanoblur to cooperate with makeup no matter what way I tried it. I wonder if I'd have more success with the colour correcting version?

    The regular Nanoblur is great, but I get redness in summer, not winter.

    I've got an unopened NBN primer sitting in my stash just waiting for my current 2 primers to run out. It seems like by the time I get to it it'll be back to warm summer days.
