First Impressions: Kat Von D Metal Crush Highlighter
To celebrate the 10-Year anniversary of Kat Von D Beauty, the beauty brand released an epic limited-edition collection of makeup products, including the 10 Year Anniversary Metal Crush Highlighter in “Gold Skool” ($42, sephora.com.au). The exclusive gold highlighter is formulated with liquid-powder technology so that it applies smooth and creamy. And as soon as we saw this hyper-reflective golden luminiser, we knew we had to have test it immediately.

I wonder if the mica that KVD uses in her products is ethically sourced? If not, she is a hypocrite!

Too glittery for me but would suit the younger beauties.

Glittery face is okay if you want to be a unicorn or fairy but I suppose it wouldn’t look too bad worn at night...
Thumbs up to glittery nails!

Can't support her brand after her irresponsible comments.

looks to be a product that I won't use as I don't like metallic reflective powders on my face (other than eye products).

Probably not something I'd use.

it looks amazing. I must admit that highlighter is a product that scares me so i just dont go anywhere near it. I really need to be more experimental.

You've said it perfectly, Meedee. Just the thought brings me out in a rash, sort of even though it looks so good.

Arrgh so you end up in a rash where the highlighter sits?
That’d be a nightmare!
