    Beard dye: the new male beauty trend

    First it was beard baubles, and now men are showcasing the latest hair colour trends, dyeing their beards with breathtaking results.

    From pretty pastels to vivid green, bright yellow and even hot pink, blokes are forsaking ordinary facial hair in favour of a rainbow of hues, taking to Instagram to show off the look.  

    Although it’s not technically ‘new’, the trend is definitely having a moment in the spotlight – and we at bh couldn’t be more delighted…

    With a hint of stubble right through to full, bushy beards being so on-trend lately, there’s no doubt they’ve definitely got enough hair to work with!

    Personally, I’m all for blokes having fun with colour (even if it makes introducing them to our parents a teeny bit awkward down the track).

    But I have to wonder whether this is an attempt by the boys to steal the limelight from women dyeing their armpit hair – which caused quite a stir on social media last November!

    Oh so this IS a trend indeed? I was at a restaurant yesterday and saw a young man with half a pink and half a black beard. By coincidence I discovered this article on BH right now.

    I think I'd prefer my man to have his beard in his original colour, not sure if I could get used to it if he turned up with a blue, green, pink or multi-coloured beard.

    Hmm, I wonder if Santa's white beard is original or does he bleach it? :) :) :)

    The male beauty trend I would like to see is where all men had no beards. Each time that I see a man with a beard, I secretly wish that they would shave it off.

    HA! It looks ridiculous but if my husband for some reason decided to grow a beard and then dye it I suppose I'd have no real issue with it.

    This is kind of an old trend that's new again - I knew someone in high school who dyed his beard red and this is going back about 13 years now! (He also used to plait it too just for fun.)

    I was expecting an article on men dyeing their beards to hide grey - not abstract colors.... Quite a surprise!
