The new Christmas beauty trend

Wrap me in tinsel and call me Prancer – the festive season is upon us! What’s not to love about Christmas? We get time off work, awesome presents, fairy lights, Christmas carols and all of the cheer! We also get weird and wonderful festive trends, like the hilarious and magnificent beard baubles we brought you last year.
Great, right? Well, this year the universe has delivered once again in the form of glitter beards.
Glorious, aren’t they? What was once the bane of all primary school teachers’ existence is now a must-have male accessory. Finally, hipsters everywhere can get in the Christmas spirit by transforming their well-groomed facial hair into a sparkly mane that not even Mrs. Claus could resist.

And if you think girls can’t jump on the glitter bandwagon, think again. Because #glitterpits are also a thing. Is it weird? Yes. Do we want to try it? Probably not.
But, this whacky trend is actually part of a feminist campaign encouraging women to defy social norms surrounding body hair to promote body equality. That’s something we can get on board with!
So guys, get to your nearest craft store and invest in some glitter. Because, Christmas.
What do you think of glitter beards? What’s the most bizarre Christmas trend you’ve seen?

That is so funny! I'm sure no one does it for real though - just for Instagram likes and glory!

Ummm... I think that there are honestly some things that shouldn't be covered in glitter.

I’m not a beard fan at the best of times and enhancing that beard with glitter - well nothing wrong with it - it’s festive - but I feel myself recoiling.

I love the body equality message of glitter pits but not the method!
Glitter beards? No. Just no.

Looks absolutely awful! I certainly wouldn't go out with a guy who tried to "outshine" me!

No, just no. There is enough house cleaning to be done in this world without men spreading glitter everywhere. Have they not heard that glitter is the herpes of the craft world? It never, ever goes away! And as for my armpits, definitely a glitter free zone.

Lol - that's funny how if a guys face can be hairy and glittery then girls can come right back at guys and glitterize long underarm hair!

I think the only way to get the glitter out of the glitter beards would be to shave them off!
Glitter pits - um, no thanks
