It's so easy to use, eco-friendly and eco-chic.

I like that it is bamboo and biodegradable as plastic combs make my hair frizzy.

The teeth are nice and wide. As a detangling brush I still prefer my tangle teaser.

Only downside is that it cannot be used in the shower to comb on products as it makes the comb mouldy.

Suitable for use on wet or dry hair, this nicely made bamboo comb has teeth of two thickness to aid in detangling knots with ease. You can use this product to comb through conditioning treatments and for styling. This comb eliminates the tugging and tearing that can happen when using a normal brush.

I really liked using this comb on my and my daughter's very thin hair and I preferred to use it on wet hair but it's totally suitable for dry hair, I just felt that it didn't got through dry hair as easily.

The only thing i found was that this comb would not get out really tight, small knots as the teeth were just a tad too big, other than that I really liked this comb and I love that it's 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable.

Myself for one am not usually one to use a comb but I give this comb 5 stars.

The company claims that this product is made from 100% biodegradable material, is 100% recyclable , cruelty free and made from sustainable bamboos.

My decision on how to use this was based on the suggestion on the package- to comb through my hair with a treatment conditioner.
So I used the hair mask that also came into the box as well.

The comb has double thickness teeth which I found really made the conditioner glide straight through my hair .

I also used the comb after I got out of the bath to comb through my wet hair before styling .

It was a pleasure to use this way aswell , as it didn't tug at my hair which can cause damage when wet!

I really want to like the comb. It isn’t made of plastic like many other combs are (although the label is held on by a plastic zip tie so it is not free from plastic completely).

This comb is far from ideal. The shape of it is awkward and uncomfortable to hold. It definitely did not detangle my hair at all, it just got caught up whenever it got to the knots in my hair and despite slowly trying to comb them out, the teeth of the comb are too far apart to be of any use.

I suppose this may be good for other type of hair. I have wavy, course hair and it definitely was not suitable for my needs. I think it could work well for really curly hair or someone with hair extensions.

The hair comb has 100% less plastic than similar combs. it is 100% biodegradable, vegan friendly, 100% recyclable, cruelty free making it a guilty free choice to use it every day.

The comb has two teeth thickness and different spacing which makes it easy to go through the hair locks and detangle whether the hairs are dry or wet. Since I am going through a very rough patch with my hairs and they have been very weak and dry, combing is a nightmare for me. With the detangling comb, it makes the combing a little bit easy and less painful for me.

I will definitely recommend anyone who has hair lock and tangling issues to go for this detangling comb to use this comb and make your life easy.

The Toni & Guy Bamboo Detangling Brush has fast become and favourite staple in my shower/hair routine. First of all, I love that Toni & Guy are creating eco friendly products, this is definitely something I keep an eye out for these days so they get a big thumbs up from me for this. The brush itself is a great size, nice and compact, the teeth of the comb are spaced out just right to help get rid of any knots, I personally have been using this comb in the shower once I have my conditioner in my hair and it has really helped to smooth out any stubborn knots out of birds nest of hair haha! I really love the brown and white colouring too, it’s just simple, classic and sleek. I’m definitely keen to try the other brushes in the range as this one has definitely exceeded my expectations.

I am so excited by all the big brands that are starting to look at more environmentally friendly products. As a consumer o appreciate being able to make better choices so I was excited to get to trial the new Bamboo Brush Collection - Detangling Comb.

I usually use a plastic tangle teeze comb - both in the shower to comb through product, to help rinse product out of my hair and then when I get out of the shower to detangle and to help get a treatment or heat protectant through my hair. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this comb worked. It definitely took a bit more work and I had to be a bit more careful than I am with my usual comb (as the plastic bends) but this comb worked really well.

The thick comb felt amazing in my scalp and I didn’t have any major tangles. It seems to glide through my hair with ease. Plus to top it off it’s a much better choice for the environment.

The Toni & Guy Detangling Comb is fully biodegradable and packaging is minimal and recyclable. I'm really happy that a "natural" product is keeping waste to a minimum. Well done to Toni & Guy. The comb itself is made from bamboo which is fast growing, and very sustainable . I personally would like to see this without paint, it's an unnecessary addition and isn't a good look when it starts to wear.
I absolutely LOVE the large, widely spaced teeth. This is exactly the comb I needed for combing through heat protecting leave in treatments when my hair is wet. I had been using plastic combs until now and they always pull and get tangled, I have to be so careful to avoid stretching and breaking my hair. The teeth aren't as smooth as plastic but the wide spacing is definitely an improvement. I didn't use this product in the shower and I don't believe it's the best environment for the comb.

I love the concept of this comb – it looks stylish and is great for the planet. Unfortunately it didn’t stay looking great for long as after a couple of uses and being kept only on my bench, the Toni & Guy text is already partly worn off and I noticed a small divot in the timber (that may or may not have been there when received). I think the comb would be perfect for travel as it’s compact design would slip easily into a cosmetic case but am concerned it would quickly deteriorate in that situation.

As for using the comb, I don’t usually use a wide tooth comb so this was a different experience for me. I have long fine hair that gets tangled easily but with minimal knots. I found that the comb was easy to hold and could be pulled through my dry hair easily without tugging or tearing. It did however take many strokes to remove all the tangles as the teeth are quite wide so with my fine hair, I needed to go over and over it. When I was done, I was honestly sceptical that my hair was tangle free because of the wide teeth and fine hair so on one occasion I used my normal tangle brush afterwards to check - I was surprised to find it slipped through easily as there were no tangles left! I found the comb was good to use to style the hair and didn’t give any frizz that a brush can sometimes give.

I am confused though because the packaging mentions that the comb has two thicknesses with different spacing. I’ve spent quite a few minutes intently looking at it trying to work out where the difference is but I really can’t see it, and neither could my partner. I assume maybe the white part is different to the rest, but honestly not sure.

Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for a wide tooth comb as this is a better choice for the planet than the plastic ones available.
