What's your favourite clay face mask?
I love a good face mask and am using a Sukin SuperGreens Detoxifying clay mask at the moment. I love it but would like to try something different preferably with natural ingredients and without the chemical nasties. What's your favourite clay mask. My skin type is normal but I sometimes use products for sensitive skin as I prefer little or low fragrance in products.

I was excited to be chosen to review these tablets and pleased that Natures Way provided enough for me to trial for a couple of months so I could truly ascertain if they were going to be beneficial
Glowy and beautiful!
A great and affordable sunscreen which has a glowy colour in it.
Such a beautiful foundation
This foundation is the best of the best. I dragged my feet in getting to try it because sometimes products aren't always as great as people rave that they are. This product genuinely is.

Mine is just good old clay powder mixed with water. I buy it from the the Bulk Source, it's sold by the kilo . So I just buy a few scoops (along with my nuts and Quinoa)
Do you mean The Source Bulk Foods?
I love The Source!
Yeah, that's the one , I forgot the proper name.
Me too! Although I just buy food stuff + macadamia oil from them, not beauty-related things. I wish there was one closer to where I live, but I happily make the trip specifically if I need to.
You can but pure clay at most health food stores and make one yourself... Or Mukti does a really great one with added goodness in it...
Oh this is a tough one, there are some seriously good ones out there! I love the Generation Clay purifying & ultra violet masks..Essano has a good pink clay mask..philosophy's purity made simple exfoliating clay one is quite good..Swisse's new blood orange & turmeric mask is fantastic.. just naming a few!
Interestingly I was going to say my top two clay mask picks are the Essano Rosehip pink clay mask because it smells and feels much more luxe than its price tag (though avoid if you don't like the smell of rose). Sukin have since come out with a pink clay mask for sensitive skin but I've not tried that before. The other one would be Philosophy's Purity Exfoliating Clay mask always leaves my skin baby soft afterwards. I love the 2 in 1 mask and physical exfoliating action.
Amazeballs, I'll have to try your other suggestions now!!
I've heard so much about the Essano Rosehip Pink Clay Mask, I must try this & the other's are interesting too :)
Do you prefer a clay mask that dries (like the Sukin supergreens) or doesn't dry?
I prefer ones that dry am using the Sukin supergreens one at the moment and have used it for ages, am happy with it but would like to try something different for a change.
Imo the Sukin one you are using is the best drying one I have tried. Reason being it dries but it does not dry out the skin. This is compared to many of the pricier ones like dermalogica and so on.
I have been loving the Bioglan Bentonite Clay lately. I was scared of it the first time I used it as it dries really tight and makes your skin kind of pulse - also my face was pretty red for about 10 minutes after using it. But, it made my skin feel great - really soft and smooth and now that i'm used to the feeling of it I love it.
I love the Goldfaden MD Facial Detox Clarify + Clear Mask on the premium end but it does smell slightly sulphurous.
For a cheaper customised option, hop on to New Directions or similar websites and purchase the raw ingredients yourself.
I'm currently finishing at the moment:-The Australian Cosmetics Company-White Clay Face Mask, absolutely love this product, it's taken me almost a decade just to finish it. I got this at my local chemist so not sure if you can get this at Chemist Warehouse but Priceline doesn't sell it. They have a few other's from this brand that I haven't tried but certainly will once I've finished other mask's that I currently have.
I love Essano pink clay mask. I find it really gentle and non drying.
Another vote for Essano's Rosehip Clarifying Clay Mask. Absolutely love that one. Feels like a clay mask when dry (although not when you apply it), but once removed your skin feels beautifully moisturised. Easily the best clay mask I've ever used & I'm glad BH let me discover it last year as its now got a firm place in my stash.
Don't have a fave yet but love clay masks in general. Yet to try a pink clay mask though
I use pure french green clay powder which is my fave. I also have morrocan red clay powder, but the green one works best for me and is great at reducing pores and leaves my skin realy smooth.
Ohh getting so inspired to try the Essano pink clay mask!! I’m yet to pin down a favourite, but do love a good drying one during a breakout!
