I have used a few Clarins products, too many to list, lol, I really like Beauty Flash Balm but off the top of my head I can't think of what else I love. Oh they have a great foot cream, and body serum which are fantastic.
I wanted to try the Clarins Truly Matte Pore Minimising Serum, it looks like it has potential!! But so expensive!! Has any tried? Do you think its suitable for a girl in her early 20s to use it? lol
My fave products are- Hand and Nail Treatment (this is actually my all time best hand cream EVER!!) Body Moisturiser Melt cleanser I'm not sure if I don't use it right, but the Beauty Flash Balm does nothing for me?
What I do is squeeze a small amount and rub with my fingertips and then pat it on gently (after applying face moisturizer). It provides a cooling sensation on the skin. It's meant to brighten and tighten the skin and allow makeup to stay on longer (like a primer).
Maybe I use too much? Also I rub it on, not pat it. I will give it another try then! You haven't told us what your fave products are, Evanescencessy?
If you're looking for a matte pore minimising type product, Clarins also stocks "Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch". It's like a primer and it glides nicely on the skin to hide pores and fine lines and gives a soft matte finish. I am not sure if this is much cheaper than the serum but I think it is suitable for all ages.
I am not a great fan of Clarins but the only 2 products I love are Beauty Flash Balm and the relaxation oil which works like a dream.
Ah yes this is definitely my favourite primer, love it, gives me the most flawless makeup :)
I think you don't need a lot and you shouldn't rub it in. My fave Clarins product is the Smoothing Body Scrub for a New Skin with Bamboo Powders. It's the BEST body exfoliation product I"ve used. I really like the thick consistency of the scrub and it contains many fine bamboo powders which really exfoliates well but is gentle at the same time. I also love the scent!
Other products I like include their facial exfoliaters and the Hydra Quench Cream Mask and Skin Smoothing Eye Mask.
I just finished off a tube of smoothing body scrub yesterday and I was sorry to see it go, I really liked it. I would re-purchase it for sure.
I have a Clarins store in my bathroom! I used it in my 20's and then in my 30's and plan on using it into my 40's - they have great ranges as your skin changes. My current favourite is the Double Serum Generation 6 and always the Moisture Rich Body Lotion
I currently use Clarins Advanced Extra Firming Eye Contour Serum (to reduce puffy undereyes) and the Whitening Moisture Day Emulsion (aimed at reducing my hyperpigmentation). While they're both lovely products, they were really expensive, and I don't think I'm seeing enough benefit from either to justify repurchasing. The moisturiser really does melt into the skin, but my dark spots don't seem to have lessened at all.
I'm loving Clarins Fix Makeup mist. Just bought it recently and I find it does help make my makeup last longer. I use powder blush and often find the colour fades after a couple of hours. Using this mist helps it last the day and keeps my face hydrated. At approx $35 for 30ml, it is quite pricey compared to Australis Finishing Spritz, but I prefer the smaller bottle (more handy for my already full handbag) and I believe it dispenses a finer mist than the Australis one.
I also have the two Clarins Deodorants which are excellent, the blue one is my favourite :)
I like Beauty Flash Balm, Eye Contour Balm and Younger Longer Balm.
There's also alight fragrant mist in a dark red bottle that the Clarins SA used on me but I can't remember what it's called. I want to buy that next.
I use the Gentle Foaming Cleanser. Great on my skin. Cleans my face really well and have been happy with it. A littlle goes a long way.
Not sure if I will re purchase it though ( bought it in July and still going strong )only because wouldn't mind trying out other products.
good thing is-Clarins gives out a heaps of free samples !I love their eye cream!
Hi all. I'm new to clarins products and blown away from the quality of them. Was given lots of samples from a generous lady at Myers and loving them. The smell and texture is amazing. Looking forward to buying full sized products
Welcome to the forum, Angela
Thanks for reviving this thread. I use a few clarins products and I have enjoyed almost all clarins products I have tried so far. The user experience is certainly very good in terms of smell and texture.
Angela, welcome to the BH forums! I see that you have your email address as your username. Are you aware of this? Some people don't want their email address displayed in a public forum such as this.
Hi, Angela!
I get a bit paranoid about my email address too! We used to be able to edit our usernames, but I don't think we can any more.
