I find it really hard to get a good cleanser as it works for a few weeks, but then my skin seems to build up a resistance.
Anyone got a miracle cure?!
I love the QV Face range as it is great on my dry and sensitive skin. I like the QV Face Gentle Cleanser. Cetaphil is also a good cleanser.
Thanks a bunch, I'll look in to it. One thing I have never tried is Proactiv because I am afraid it is one big rip-off. Has any one out there tried it?
I have used Proactive and what you'll find (and i have friends that can attest to this) is when you first begin using this you will break out a bit more than usual but that's because its getting rid of the toxins in your skin. After the initial phase you will definitely notice that your skin will clear up and will have perfect skin! The downside is when I had used the last drops of the product... a week later I broke out again and at that time I couldn't afford to keep buying the skin line over and over again.
i love dermalogica!! i have been using the special cleansing gel for a few weeks and i love it... i swear my pimples are going and honestly my skin has never looked better!!!
I would avoid Pro-Activ. It worked at first, but then I stopped and I broke out even worse then before... It also damaged my skin, It dried it out and it became tight and flakey - horrible!! I cleanse regulary with Clarins but it can be quite expensive to keep buying a whole new skin care range everytime!! What I would recommend is that you continue to use a cleanser that CLEANS your skin, and use a spot treatment like Dr Ekstein's Azulen Paste (my fave!) and just apply it to the spots as they appear (it will dry out the spots overnight)
Yes i highly recomment QV as well.. it doesn't dry out your skin and its fragrance free for sensitive skin type
iv been looking for a realy good moisturizer, to keep my legs smooth all day , they seem 2 dry out.
Does anyone know of any good ones??
i love Palmers Cocoa Butter, QV cream, and The Body Shop's Strawberry Body Butter :) xX
I agree Palmer Coco Butter is fantastic!
Palmer's cocoa butter is a fabulous moisturiser! It smells so yummy! (they make the best lip balm as well - dark chocolate and peppermint!). For the face I really like L'oreal's happy derm moisturiser - it's light, makes the skin feel smooth and velvety and smells like peaches (well, at least that's what I think!)
Clinique and Neutrogena make great cleansers that seem to work well :) Also love palmers cocoa butter for the body! yum!
I've been using the Dermalogica ultra sensitive cleanser for a while, which has been fabulous - so gentle but effective - but with all these raves for the QV range I might have to look into it. I didn't realise they made such a good range of products! I only realised after coming to this website, probably because the last time I even gave QV a second look was 7 years ago when I needed something that wouldn't aggravate my eczema and all their goodies back then were so basic. The cleanser and their face polish seem really similar to a couple of dermalogica products, I'm hoping anyway! Would save me a lot of money if they work just as well. And for the body, I agree with Palmers Cocoa Butter. It just sinks into your skin and smells delicious as a bonus.
I was excited to be chosen to review these tablets and pleased that Natures Way provided enough for me to trial for a couple of months so I could truly ascertain if they were going to be beneficial
A great and affordable sunscreen which has a glowy colour in it.
This foundation is the best of the best. I dragged my feet in getting to try it because sometimes products aren't always as great as people rave that they are. This product genuinely is.
