Been seeing their ads popping up all over my FB. Has any pretty try it already? Please share your review, and thank you! :)
I haven't tried it but I'm interested in hearing other people's thoughts too.. It's been all over Facebook and Instagram and now I'm curious
I would love to hear more about this as well, I have seen demos of this on youtube and it looks really good!
I've seen this brand advertised in magazines & stuff, but haven't tried it myself.
I haven't tried it either but like the other ladies waiting to read about it first!
Funnily enough i was just reading an article on this! Would love to hear if anyone has tried it and what they thought of it
I've heard heaps about it from influencers but would love to see some BH beauties discussing it first hand :)
bumping the thread!
I received a small sample tube of this quite sometime ago , enough for 2 uses or so and i really loved it !
Face was super soft and much brighter just after 1 use. Loved how my skin looked and felt afterwards.
Unfortunately when i went to use remaining of the mask it had dried up in the tube. Wasn't too concerned , thought perhaps i didn't screw lid on properly. Anyway after having a read through some comments on instagram i noticed a few people had commented about the same problem. So that worries me as it's quite expensive.
But id message them myself and suss that out before i made a purchase
I also had the sample but it still hasn't dried up on me :S I just use a bit on my chin area mostly so it has lasted me ages and I really like It! In saying that I did not want to pay anywhere near that much money just for a face mask so I bought some bulk pink Australian clay off eBay and make my own which works just as well!
I've seen a lot of influencers advertising this brand on Instagram
I don't think that some people realise that you can buy raw powdered clay and make your own masks. The powdered clays come in different colours for different types of skin. I prefer to use 100% clay on its own, but you can customise your masks by adding other ingredients. There are lots of retailers that sell powdered clays, but here are some of them:
You are right there RJ . I often use my Bentonite Clay Powder and mix ingredients to make my own clay mask.
recently I tried to dupe the Body shop Himalayan Tea tree clay mask . I added Tea tree and other ingredients and it turned out quite well.
It is so cheap to buy the whole jar of clay powder and make masks according to your skin conditions.
Thanks Petal for these resources! I agree, never thought you could do this and I love this idea!! I love masking and think this is fab. Only problem is, are there things you can’t mix with the clay?
Tigerlily, I'm not sure what ingredients are unsuitable to include in face masks. There are lots of websites where natural-based beauty bloggers share their own recipes for masks, so you'd be better off reading their blogs. The first blog that comes to my mind - without doing a massive Internet search for other ones - is the one by Crunchy Betty:
It is possible that some of the wholesale suppliers of clay could tell you what ingredients are unsuitable for face masks.
Thanks Petal! Appreciate you taking the time to give me ideas and share your resource. I will definitely be looking into this. Sounds like fun!
Oh wow- that's such a great idea. I didn't even think how easy you could DYI these types of clay masks!
Would like to give a try to see is the product worth the rave.
I have tried this. I'm about half way through my tub. It is fine but doesn't do anything extraordinary for my skin. So for the price I won't be re-purchasing and instead I will be trying pure clay masks from Nourished Life - the ones where you mix the clay up with water yourself. Not worth the high price tag in my opinion!
Same here! I purchased this by reading reviews and honestly, it hasn’t done anything great for my skin. It does feel smooth the next day and that’s it.
Sand & Sky has recently appeared on BH's list of brands (BH hasn't announced this yet):
Here is the listing for the Sand & Sky Porefining Face Mask which retails for $69.90:
Have seen many similar products appearing, i.e. The Healthy Mummy Skin, Alya. Do you reckon they are the same thing?
Im stuck buying this product literally. I used it when my children were babies and now there a bit older and understand they no bath, cream, then bed. No cream = no bed for 3 very angry toddlers.
This moisturiser has a lovely smooth texture and glides onto my skin beautifully. I found it left my skin feeling soft and supple and it also wears well under makeup.
