I was excited to be chosen to review these tablets and pleased that Natures Way provided enough for me to trial for a couple of months so I could truly ascertain if they were going to be beneficial
Glowy and beautiful!
A great and affordable sunscreen which has a glowy colour in it.
Such a beautiful foundation
This foundation is the best of the best. I dragged my feet in getting to try it because sometimes products aren't always as great as people rave that they are. This product genuinely is.

Hi, readingwishes!
I've got oily, blemish-prone skin & I love rosehip oil. I've tried a few other facial oils, but my skin prefers plain rosehip oil. I've used a few brands, but they're all very similar in terms of function.
One thing to note: when I started using RHO after a lifetime of avoiding products containing oils, I did get a few more zits than usual. I put this down to the change in my routine. They were small, light surface pimples, not the deep blind buggers. The rest of my skin looked so much better, so I persevered. I think it took a couple of weeks for my skin to settle down, from memory.
Now, I get fewer breakouts than before I started using RHO. Jojoba is good, too. You might have to try a few, to see which works best for your skin.
I love Rosehip oil, and sometimes mix a bit of Jojoba oil in with it, usually I avoid my chin and apply it to the rest of my face. But I use more in the winter because the cold weather makes my skin quite dry.
Kosmea revive illuminating essense is a oil blend that is lighter and I personally think it would be suitable for all skin types.
Hi! I've recently started using Rosehip Oil and find this really nice on my dry skin. I also apply my usual moisturiser straight after.
I've tried several oils & have settled upon argan oil for the moment. Rosehip oil either irritated me or broke me out (this happened after a while, not when I first began using it) & jojoba just sat on my face without penetrating beneath (although that could've had something to do with the amount I used).
I've been using The Ordinary's 100% Cold-Pressed Argan Oil for a little while now & I enjoy it but I'm keen to try their Borage Seed Oil next as I've heard it's good for sensitive skin, which I have. (Along with my skin also being slightly combination & dehydrated.)
My skin is combination, leaning towards dry. I don't like oils that feel too heavy on my skin. My favourites are Esmi Skin Minerals 24k Gold Nourishing Oil, Edible Beauty Snowflower Illuminating Face Oil, and Makeup Revolution Skin Nourishing CBD oil. All three feel light weight on my skin, and make my skin silky smooth. At the moment instead of moisturiser in the morning, I use the Esmi face oil and it's perfect.
I liked Kosmea oil combination but then got a suggestion that pure rosehip oil is even better so going to try out that now. :)
I've tried a couple of blends of RHO plus various whizz-bang ingredients, but pure RHO is definitely better on my skin.
You mentioned this in your kosmea oil review as well and that's one of the reasons I decided to try it out :)
Well, I'm glad I've been of some assistance! Say, Peach, does that make me an influencer? Hahahahahaha!
BH star and influencer for sure ;)
I used several different types of face oil. I agree that Rosehip oil is a good one to start and be wary that it smells nothing like rose :P It is a type of seed I think. Note that different brands of Rosehip oil have different consistency. Personally, I do not like those that are very thick. Try them out at the chemist before you buy if you can. Combination oil wise, I recommend facial oils from Clarins. The brand have a few different blends.
I agree with rosehip oil. I love Jurlique's range too.
I love C02 extracted rosehip oil with a tiny bit of vitamin E, sea buckthorn, borage and carrot seed oils added in.
You can build on this by experimenting with a premium quality grapeseed oil too.
I have normal/combination and rose hip oil is also my pick. Tried a few different ones by now e.g. rose hip, chia, hemp seed (blend), macadamia etc. Still prefer rose hip or rose hip predominant blend.
The other one I would recommend for combination to oily skin is Swisse cranberry. Very light weight.
I have used a few oils, I love RHO, avacado oil and blackcurrant/raspberry seed-based oils. They tend to work really well for me (my skin type is normal). I have used chia and jojoba; they were too light for me personally.
I think oils are trial and see, especially as there are so many.
For me I have combination skin sometimes really oily , sometimes dehydrated. The cheaper ones I like are
The ordinary b oil. Ingredients Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Squalane, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Bisabolol, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Isochrysis Galbana Extract, Adansonia Digitata Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Borago Officinalis Seed Oil, Rosa Canina Seed Oil, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Oenocarpus Bataua Fruit Oil, Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil, Bertholletia Excelsa Seed Oil, Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Fruit Extract, Hydroxymethoxyphenyl Decanone, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Tocopherol.
Derma e facial oil. Organic helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, organic simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil*, ethylhexyl palmitate, organic cucurbita pepo (pumpkin) seed oil*, organic hippophae rhamnoides (seabuckthorn) fruit oil*, organic argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil*, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), mica, titanium dioxide, natural fragrance oils.
For more expensive I love Sunday Riley Juno oil as its a great blend of antioxidants etc. But the cheaper ones are just as great
I love plain Coconut Oil or Rosehip Plus's Rosehip Oil...
I was quite surprised by how good Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate is. It has, amongst other botanical oils, lavender oil, evening primrose oil and olive-derived squalane. Light, smooth and incredibly nourishing. To be used at night when skin is at its optimum repair stage.
A lot of other facial oils have a short shelf life. MRC is 99.8% naturally derived and doesn't go rank in a few months time.
Otherwise, I also recommend if you are dry skinned, The Ordinary Marula Oil and/or The Ordinary Virgin Sea-Buckthorn Fruit Oil. They're top shelf but really cheap.
I haven't tried Kiehl. Thanks for recommending :)
elf has released really great boosters / oils.... seen them in priceline,,, great ingredients and the antioxidant oil looks bomb
My go to face oil has always been the Go To skincare Face Hero. It's what I pick up whenever my skin is feeling dry or irritated.
However, I have also been using Sunday Riley Juno which has been beautiful.
For something cheaper, a good Rosehip oil is heavenly! x
I tried a bit of Face Hero yesterday as I'd forgotten to apply moisturiser & it is nice & light in feel on the skin. Unfortunately for me I can't get past the scent of it, even though I can't smell it on the skin for too long. Kinda sad as I'd been wanting to try it for ages, but if I don't like the smell it's a no go.
I've used a Thursday Plantation brightening oil to help with uneven skin tone and found it to be quite effective. They're also reasonable priced too.
