ASAP skincare, Platinum Collection
ASAP skincare, Platinum Collection
This will be the first time to try an Australian made and owned, cruelty free brand ASAP.
To make sure I cover the most of the range, the 'essentials', I got the Platinum collection that contains the following:
- 1 x super A+ serum 15ml (1% Retinol)
- 1 x super B complex 15ml
- 1 x super C serum 15ml (20% L-Ascorbic Acid)
- 1 x radiance serum 15ml
- 1 x ultimate hydration 30ml
- 1 x anti-ageing night cream 30ml
Will post the feedback on each (as I write this post the brand is not listed on BH reviewed list of products).
My concerns are pigmentation (melasma) and prevention of wrinkles creeping up, as I am that "critical" age , when one turns 40 in no time =)
Also, I am virgin in things containing high amount of actives like those in the collection (never used vitA and C and B3, AHAs in high amounts...), and so far used only natural based skincare. So be patient, and I hope I do not burn the face off!
The ingredients will be posted and all the details below of the products (as they can not be found online at all).

Regular buyer for a long time.
Im stuck buying this product literally. I used it when my children were babies and now there a bit older and understand they no bath, cream, then bed. No cream = no bed for 3 very angry toddlers.
Smooth cream that doesn’t feel too heavy
This moisturiser has a lovely smooth texture and glides onto my skin beautifully. I found it left my skin feeling soft and supple and it also wears well under makeup.
Goodness in a Jar
After more than a week of using Pro X by Olay Anti Aging Wrinkle Smoothing Cream I can really say that the I ❤️ the product;

The Platinum pack contains the instructions how to use all of the products:
Now instead of typing heaps of the ingredients, I will post the pics from the back of the pack. Will have to split it in parts, as they would not be visible otherwise: top is the description of the products, bottom (other half of the pics) the ingredients list.

johanna yay! I love ASAP Aussie Sister Skinstitut so I can only imagine it is good by association.
Your skin is def gotta get better after this!
Only 15 ml serum? That will only last approx 1.5 months, just enough for you to try them out. Truly pigmentation test are best done in 12 weeks.
Following your progress! :)

How exciting! I look forward to your feedback!! Enjoy yohanna :)

Thanks Yohanna for posting this! Now I want to check out ASAP too and see if I could have brighter skin :-)
No worries sakura! I was shopping blind. Could not find the ingredients anywhere...so I just got the box. So will see now how it all goes! Will start in couple of days, as I want to get rid of one oil I am using. Tiny bit left...
Thank you skincare junkie and preciousia!
Yes, the serums are half size of the regular ASAP serums. I did get them in this collection, so I can try them all at the fraction of the price. If I got only 2 full sized 30ml serums, they would cost me more than the whole box! And in total I do have there 2 x 30ml serums worth, and both day and night creams. So yes, bargain hunter, and really wanted to try before buying all full sized! So pricey, what if my skin does not like some of them? Too much waste....like this not so much at all!
Yes, I got the whole pack for 122 bucks. =D
Packaging looks luxe... Are they airless bottles? Store vitamin c in fridge ... It'll last longer.
No need. All airless pump bottles. Plus I think I will use it up very quickly lol
Just me. Lol I put them in airless uv protected pump bottles and refrigerate. Minimise light & air & temperature, all oxidant causing variables.
What are the reasons you decided to buy ASAP?
Did not want to waste heaps of money to test all the things good for : skin hydration, pigmentation, nourishment ("only" things I really need =D)....like VitA, B, C, AHAs...all separately. Since I never tried them, and my skin being sensitive...throwing money on stuff that would cause allergic reactions....nope
You know I am a bargain hunter...so doing a bit of research, concluded that just this pack has all in one, and costs a fraction of the price! And yes, been following all the threads, looking at the products formites have been using and suggesting, ones suitable for me....but at the end, this was the cheapest way to enter the "serious business" in the skincare arena and try all without being sorry for throwing cash away =D
in short: convenience and pretty package lol
I do prefer to use products of one brand at one time (like for example: Antipodes serum, oil and cream will be next to 'sacrifice' yay)....love combining products like this
I love how you know how to find a good deal! Yohanna seriously you're good, I was trying to find a better deal Foreo but couldn't beat the one you found.
So what happens after u finish the products? If you like it, will you repurchase or look out for the next deal?
Will see what my skin likes....then will hunt bargains for those lol
No worries, will get them cheap as I usually do ! Sales come and go all the time, so I do not bother rushing into anything. First finishing with one series of products, taking a break, then start again....is my policy. No more accumulation hehe...my "beauty" designed drawer is almost full now of body/skin/hair stuff)
I am not sure when I will find The one will I know it? Skincare of course not Husband, I already got a hubby.
Trying a few different commercial Brands now since stopping derm's products. It is not easy. When do you know you found HG? Why do people try new ones after they found their HG? Is it possible a better HG exists?
Good advice on sales! We all can take notes from you and stop hoarding beauty products,
Oh, I have designated only ONE drawer for the 'beauty' stuff. If it starts to get full, I freak out hehe...remember though, I still have 5 Maslow boxes to arrive, full of all things beauty! So NO shopping, until I run out of things .
Lucky you preciousia, at least you have found The One in more important department!♥
Problem with HGs in my world of "wanna try it all" things, even when I find a thing that I like, I always want to try another...then another....it never ends! lol (I blame BH and you guys hahahha =P)
So far... i have only made 1 mistake buying a product i have checked ingredients and did not like. That's NI. Every other product i like. Like Grown Alchemist, i thought omg, this is it. Then i tried another and another and i realise my depth of experience with brands is not really deep. So i think to be fair, i will take a while before i find the one HG.
One thing is for sure, i know what ingredients i want. That's the single denominator. Making sure i am getting the same actives my doc used to give me is helping.
i got not 1 drawer, but more than 1 spot and my box is getting emptier lol. so my eyes are lusting and dreaming of new products already. Speaking of Maslow and beauty box. i remember i have several coming, so i can't buy much anyways.
ASAP used to be on BH, shame they have left. I wrote a few reviews for them previously, I've always liked their serums. The super B is quite nourishing.
Thank you prettyPrincess for reporting! Can not wait to test it now!
