smelly feet from canvas shoes
smelly feet from canvas shoes
Does anyone know how to stop your canvas flats (ballet shoes) from smelling like a dirty old bin?
I have about 5 pairs and have the same problem with all of them, its rather embarrasing when i goto a friends place and take them off... it literally clears the room and kills any plants that are in there?

Game changer for my skin
Thank you BH for an opportunity to try this product as I would never have bought this otherwise.
Mixed feelings
I received a sample of this product to try. I was excited as I love John Frieda products and I'm always looking for that next best thing.
Helps with reducing the lifespan of pimples
I haven’t used Proactiv products before as I worry about the reaction on my skin. I received this Proactiv 3 step kit from beautyheaven (thank you BH!) to trial so I thought it’s now or never.

Remember not to use shoes everyday. You need at least two pairs of canvas type shoes so that you give them a chance to dry out. Bicarb can help as well as any body powder. You should ensure that you regularly dry the shoes in the sunshine. I never wear a pair of shoes two days running and I think that mine smell fairly sweet!
you mean the canvas like hand painted shoes??
mostly the foot powder is helpful!!
such a great thread this is such a embarrassing situation . This has given me a few ideas
I use talcum powder - absorbs bad smells and adds a nice perfume!
I'd throw tea tree oil spray into the mix. You can buy a can of it at Chemist Warehouse. Look for Thursday Plantation.
Definitely the bicarbonate of soda trick. Also, save those little gel packets that come in boxes to prevent moisture. Those are great for leaving in shoes/trainers to draw in moisture and odour.
Bicarbonate soda or salt deodorants.
With the bicarb, do you pop it into a mesh/organza bag first?
