My mum loves freesia-scented perfume, and I'd like to find her some for xmas. I've tried looking in chemists/pharmacies for freesia body sprays but I can't find them. So I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a perfume that's freesia-y?
Thank you! :)
Hi Lani :)
In Myer's section where they sell all the burts bees, natio etc there is a brand called Evodia that sells heaps of different body sprays. I don't know whether there is a freesia one that they produce but there are others like frangipani.
Here's the site, and on the left they have all their scents. Maybe you can find something similar? Their body mists run for $23.95 which isn't too bad!
Myer has a few other brands as well that stock body sprays.
Good luck :)
I haven't tried this myself but it might be worth a sniff - Jo Malones English pear and freesia
Heres the description:
The World of Jo Malone™ introduces English Pear & Freesia, a scent that is inspired by a walk in an orchard and captures the luscious scent of just-ripe pears, cooled by the autumn air, ready to twist free from the tree. Experience the surprising, sensuous freshness of sweet pears, wrapped in a bouquet of white freesias, on a subtle background of scrambling wild roses and skin-warming amber, patchouli and woods.
I have jo malones red roses and it is the truest rose scent i have ever smelt...so fingers crossed same goes for freesia.
The American company, Coach, has a freesia perfume. Not sure whether it is available in Australia but would definitely be online. x
Here is a cheapie from $8 availble on strawberrynet.com called freesia fields by bath and body works.
When I first opened the diffuser it did smell like the candle version, but after a while it smelled off, then strongly of alcohol which I understand is the base commonly used in reed diffusers.
Product is softly scented which I like as so many moisturisers are going fragrance free. The texture of the moisturiser is light on your skin and a lightly goes a long way.
