5 of the best treatments for dry heels

If your skin is dry, you use moisturiser. And when your hands are feeling a little rough and scaly, you reach for your hand cream. But do you do the same when your heels are looking… a little less than hydrated?
I’ll confess – I don’t. So shame on me. The truth is, we could all probably pay a teeny tiny bit more attention to our tootsies – either by moisturising them daily so as to not reach that “Gahhhh my feet are hideous stage!” or by using heel balms, lotions and potions to undo the damage already done.
Here are five of the best heel treatments to get your feet feeling smooth and looking fabulous:
NUTI-SYNERGY NS 8 HEEL BALM COMPLEX
This treatment is just the thing to transform rough, cracked or thickened heels into silky, smooth skin. The formula absorbs quickly (so no greasy feel – yay!) for instant relief. If your heels are really bad, apply the balm twice a day and at bedtime until the skin has softened. Then, just use it twice a week.
QV FEET HEEL BALM
This super-gentle formula contains sodium lactate and lactic acid, which both help hydrate feet while making sure they retain moisture, too. This means that those hard, cracked feet of yours will be in tip-top shape faster than you can say, “But I can’t wear sandals looking like this!” Added bonus: it’s lanoline, fragrance, and colour free.
SCHOLL EULACTOL HEEL BALM GOLD
This one is for those who have seriously neglected their poor little heels. Urea (not to be confused with urine) works quickly and effectively to hydrate really rough, dry and cracked heels. The formulation works in just seven days, but you’ll notice visible results in about three.
DERMADRATE CRACKED HEEL TREATMENT
Skin softeners in this lotion will do wonders to calm, soothe, repair and protect dry and cracked skin. Oh, and soothing menthol and peppermint will leave your feet feeling all tingly and refreshed. Win!
BIO SCULPTURE HEEL BALM
Calluses and dry heels got you down? Apply this nourishing bad boy very liberally twice a day (make sure to massage it in!) into your heels and soles and you’ll be a very happy lady in almost no time at all.
Hot tip: at night, apply all over your feet and cover them up. This will help the balm absorb deep into your skin.
Do you suffer from dry, cracked heels? What do you use to keep your feet smoother than a baby’s bottom?

I've used ns-8 and eulactol and both are excellent products. I tend to ignore my heels at this time of year and only start giving them some tlc in summer.

To keep my feet beautifully smooth I apply a rich nourishing moisturiser before bed then put socks on; in the morning I am rewarded with luxuriously soft skin. Thanks for the great range of products above, I would most like to try the BIO SCULPTURE HEEL BALM, it sounds wonderful!.
