This will be my 2nd hand lift (I did one a year ago), I will post some pictures of the stages so you can see before/during/after. This is the before pic, you will probably need to tilt your screen back a little to see the pigmentation issues as online pictures often have a white sheen to them which you can fix by tilting your screen.
My issue is light pigmentation from me being naughty and not using sunscreen while driving, I spend a lot of time in the car. They are not freckles as such (you can clearly see one freckle in the pic) I am trying to show the pigmentation.

i was reading your derm book yesterday and i loved how well it explained the retinoic acid... just started a few pacges. Thanks for digging this excellent material out.
Apologies for the gross photo lol but peeling has started, pretty much ends same day just the very edges take a day or so more. You can hopefully see the pigmentation that has come off, even that freckle has almost gone. Will show after photo in couple of days when everything is done.

can't see the pigmentation that came out but love how the peeling came off in a big sheet. this peeling is thicker than the laser i did. WOW.
hoping this updated picture works better to show the pigmentation, it's quite obvious to me in person but trying to reflect that onto a screen can be difficult.
can't see well.. maybe it is the pink backdrop. perhaps clearer in person. but so happy they came out. hope the pigmentation wasn't deep.
note: TCA is only suitable for lower Fitzpatrick types 1-3.
yes that is really important, it was the first point made back in my post on 19 June - even a III should get advice as they can be prone to hyper-hypo pigmentation issues during and after treatment. There are a lot of other requirements too, like skin thickness, illnesses like diabetes, etc etc. The document I posted earlier goes through that in detail from memory. Always safe to get a professional opinion :)
I am a type III so i am not going to start without professional's help.
plus my skin is so sensitive!!!
Totally forgot to update my pictures sorry it's been a very busy week. The peel worked perfectly, zero pigmentation spots now. Even that freckle is now half its usual colour. Now just have to maintain with sunscreen! When I am at my PC I will do a side by side comparison of before and after.
