Blogstar entry: importance of sunscreen
BH has banged on about the importance of sunscreen like theres no tomorrow. Well, banged it is into my head. I have been using sunscreen on a daily basis, religiously slapping it on, especially since my $450 a pop vascular laser treatment on my acne scars.
Now its catch twenty two with my skin, being acne prone, sunscreen can block my pores, but without the white stuff, my scars get darker... I know, like, its perfect, right? Just, like, I'm, like 16, but I'm actually like 27...
I still slap the big 30+ on my face eeeveryday, I just have to make sure that I wash it off properly each night, using makeup remover and a foaming face washing to get it all off with the rest of my clowny makeup. And on the days when my face is kicking up a fuss, I bring out the little multitask guy SPF 15 moisturiser and then put on my Benefit Hello Flawless powder foundation which also has SPF 15 and stay out of the sun for the day.
If you see someone that walks in the path of any shade, ANY shade, tree shade, umbrella shade, even telegraph pole shade... you know its moi.
