The natural sunscreen that is perfect for the whole family

Natural beauty is a trend that is growing by the minute. Thanks to this growth beauty lovers no longer need to sacrifice quality when choosing to opt for natural beauty products, with more effective natural products than ever before available across skin care, makeup and hair. This is particularly relevant when it comes to sunscreen, with brands now utilising zinc oxide (which is a naturally sourced mineral) as a physical block for UVA and UVB rays. With summer approaching at a rate of knots (and for the rest of the year too), sunscreen is a non-negotiable product in our beauty kits. We’ve rounded up our favourite natural sunscreen formulas for your face and body, to ensure you’re fully protected as the temperature rises.

FOR YOUR FACE
Natural Instinct Tinted Face Natural Sunscreen is the perfect product to keep your face protected. On top of utilising Zinc Oxide as a physical reflector of UV rays, the formula includes Rosehip Oil, Green Tea and Vitamin E to help replenish and keep your complexion hydrated. It also offers a light coverage that evens out minor skin imperfections and is suited to a wide range of skin tones. The broad spectrum SPF 30+ protection will more than adequately protect you and the 3 hour water resistance means you can even wear it to the beach.
FOR YOUR BODY
Similarly to the Tinted Face Natural Sunscreen, the Natural Instinct Invisible Natural Sunscreen uses Zinc Oxide to protect from UVA and UVB rays minus the tint. But let’s face it, our legs won’t be seeing the sun at all if they’re too dry and scaly to show off, so on top of SPF 30+ protection the product is infused with Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin E. This means your skin will be protected and moisturised at the same time, making it the perfect everyday body essential. Perfect for the whole family too.
FOR YOUR KIDS
Finding a sunscreen that is both protective and suitable for children's skin is often harder than you’d expect. This one, however, is specifically developed to leave a translucent white layer on the skin, so you can see where it is applied. Natural Instinct Natural Kids Sunscreen also uses naturally derived ingredients and Zinc Oxide that acts as a mirror on the skin reflecting the sun’s harmful rays. It does not contain any synthetic preservatives and is great for delicate or sensitive skin. Plus, it provides broad spectrum SPF 30+ protection that is water resistant for up to three hours.
Top tips: to ensure you’re getting the most out of your natural sunscreen formulas, make sure to shake the products to evenly distribute the Zinc Oxide and other natural ingredients. Also, make sure you’re wearing a hat, sunglasses, protective clothing and spend time in the shade to stay properly protected.

I love zinc oxide & I love anything Australian made, but it's only SPF30! I like SPF50.
Anything with vitamin E in it makes me break out - that's a problem I have with a lot of sunscreens, because I like to wear it every day, year round.

When using the tinted sunscreen, remember to shake the tube very well as the fluid tends to separate...

Thanks for the tip. I've found I have to do that before applying the Sun sense brand one I use.

Ok, while I really love NI Tinted Sunscreen, I will never waste my money on buying kids' sunscreen. What a waste- just use regular zinc oxide sunscreen.
