This deodorant has an 8000-person waiting list

The beauty world is a magical place full of potions, glosses and lotions that make us feel primped and perfectly put together – but what about the less glamorous topics that the beauty industry likes to ignore, such as sweating and chafing? Enter Megababe Beauty, a brand created to promote body positivity by providing women with purpose-driven beauty products that address our real bodily concerns – but like, made majorly Gram-worthy!

One of the products that Megababe created is their Rosy Pits natural daily deodorant (US$18, megababebeauty.com), which has proven to be a massive hit. After selling out in just eight minutes on JCrew.com and only three minutes on the brand’s own website, Rosy Pits has a waitlist that’s now 8000-strong!
Unlike a lot of antiperspirants, this bad boy is formulated without baking soda, alcohol, aluminum or parabens and is invisible on the skin. And fans across the world are singing its praises, calling Rosy Pits everything from “the best natural deodorant out there” to “life-changing”.
Not only is the packaging super cute, but women across the world have fallen in love with Megababe’s body-postive message.
Founder Katie Sturino’s desire to create products to address topics that are typically ‘taboo’ in beauty has also spawned three more top-selling items – Thigh Rescue Anti-Chafe Stick, Bust Dust Anti-Boob-Sweat Spray and Megafresh Wipes Care-Down-There Cleansing Cloths.
While the products aren’t yet available in Australia outside of the brand's own website, we’ll hopefully be able to get our hands on them soon. But if, like the rest on Instagram, you’re dying to get your hands on Rosy Pits – now is the time to join the waitlist!
Not keen on waiting? Here are a few of our favourite natural deodorants, available right here in Australia! bh loves: Sukin Natural Deodorant, A'kin Geranium & Cedarwood Natural Deodorant, Dermal Therapy™ Crystal Deodorant, Mukti Botanique Deodorant, MyAura Organics Rose Vanilla Jasmine ($9, myauraorganics.com).

I sprinkle sage in my shoes.
It works a treat for foot odour!

I am happy with my deoderant so I probably won't go on the waiting list for this one.

I'd love to try it just out of curiosity. No aluminum OR baking soda... How?! Sounds awesome! No wonder they've received such a warm reception - how much does boob sweat suck?! Anyone who could crack that case was always going to be a winner of hearts and minds.

This would be interesting to try. I've used the Sukin one but overall prefer a roll on.

I've tried the natural deodorant from Sukin. I just didn't get into it really. It's very wet and isn't antiperspirant so it was awful around summer time.

I don't use natural deodorant but I would like to. I probably wouldn't go for this one though, it's too hard to get.

Sounds like a great marketing....sold out, huge cue...etc. blah blah. Just gimme tester, I'll try, then will buy. Love a good deo that is natural based. I am ok with bicarb ones though, they are so effective

Have you tried making your own?
I use cornflour and bicarb and infuse it with vanilla pod.

Yes I did. Coconut oil and bicarb. Works the best for me, better than any deo so far (chem or not)

I’m going to experiment with homegrown dried sage next.
I use that for foot odour.
I get burn from straight bicarb so that’s why I add cornflour.
I just read your review on the crystal deodorant as I'm researching deodorants and anti-perspirants to buy.

atm I am using Native Deodorants. Lasts me forever and works . Has bicarb, but they do make formula without for sensitive people.

Hi Yo,
I just looked at the ingredients list and it contains ozokerite.
I try to avoid paraffin wax if I can help it but the other ingredients look amazing.

I avoid all petroleum byproducts. This naturally mined wax I do not mind under my pits. I am not a fan of any (not just mineral ones) waxes anywhere else. That is why most hand creams suck. And lip balms.

Oooh.
I haven’t heard of them.
Thanks for the head's up.

Sometimes though many companies play the social media game of “waiting lists” and “selling out in minutes” to create hype and make people mass panic buy. I’m sceptical, if it’s good time will tell I’m not going to jump based on social media

I change my deodorant seasonally: in winter, I use the Sukin natural one mentioned above; in summer, I use a heavy-duty clinical deodorant; in mid-season, I use a regular roll-on, usually Rexona.
